Qualifications

A Controls Design Engineer / BAS Controls Engineer / HVAC Controls Engineer is required for a building controls engineering opportunity based in Azusa, CA. This role is suited to a technical professional with experience designing building automation systems, HVAC controls solutions, control schematics and sequences of operation.

The opportunity is focused on creating effective controls designs for HVAC and mechanical systems, with the chance to develop technically, take on greater responsibility and contribute within a specialist engineering environment. • $70,000 - $140,000 salary range depending on technical capability and experience

• Previous experience with BAS / HVAC controls systems is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical and HVAC system operation
• Experience producing or interpreting electrical wiring diagrams, controls schematics and control documentation
• Knowledge of sequences of operation and control points
• Ability to understand how HVAC and mechanical systems operate beyond drafting requirements
• Strong electrical controls experience may be considered where supported by relevant mechanical systems knowledge
