Qualifications

• Experience as a Controls Design Engineer / BAS Controls Engineer / HVAC Controls Engineer.
• Experience with BAS / HVAC controls systems preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and HVAC system operation.
• Experience producing or interpreting electrical wiring diagrams, controls schematics and control documentation.
• Knowledge of sequences of operation and control points.
• Ability to understand how HVAC and mechanical systems operate beyond drafting requirements.
• Strong electrical controls experience may be considered where supported by relevant mechanical systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Previous experience with BAS / HVAC controls systems is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical and HVAC system operation
• Experience producing or interpreting electrical wiring diagrams, controls schematics and control documentation
• Knowledge of sequences of operation and control points
• Ability to understand how HVAC and mechanical systems operate beyond drafting requirements
• Strong electrical controls experience may be considered where supported by relevant mechanical systems knowledge

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with controls design software such as Visio or similar tools
• Mechanical Engineering background or related technical education
• Experience supporting junior engineers or working towards technical leadership responsibilities
