Job summary

LeoForce, a food and beverage manufacturer based in Lathrop, CA, is seeking a mid-level Controls and Automation Tech to join our production team. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and robotic systems, and support upgrades and commissioning.

You have 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, proficient with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley preferred), instrumentation, electrical schematics, and motion control, with a strong safety focus and FDA standards awareness.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or electrical systems.
  • Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting; Allen-Bradley preferred.
  • Experience with instrumentation, electrical schematics, and motion control.
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and automated equipment.
  • Experience troubleshooting HMIs, VFDs, robotics, sensors, and related controls equipment.
  • Ability to support automation upgrades, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong safety focus and commitment to following applicable safety and FDA standards.
  • Bonus: Experience with Beckhoff, Fanuc, or vision systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and records.
  • Ensure automation and electrical systems comply with safety and FDA standards.
  • Help maintain reliable, efficient production operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
