Job summary

TMEIC Houston is seeking an engineering student or graduate to provide software design technical support for control solutions and drafting and hardware design support for electrical distribution projects. You will assist with CAD drawings, HMI development, and documentation to meet client requirements and project milestones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with pursuing or completed engineering degree in related field.
• Courses in control automation, software development, and engineering fundamentals preferred.
• Demonstrated problem solving and collaboration skills; ability to work with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support software design and drafting for control solutions and project requirements.
• Create and document software modules for industrial controllers and HMI.
• Produce electrical drawings reflecting project requirements using CAD software.
• Develop mechanical panel layouts and enclosure drawings per codes.
• Update drawings and provide status reports as needed.
