Job summary

TMEIC Corporation is seeking a student or early-career engineer to provide software design and hardware drafting support for electrical distribution and control solutions. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, developing software modules, and creating CAD drawings for AC/DC drives, power distribution, and I/O systems.

The role also covers HMI development, simulation, and collaboration with the project team to ensure inter-operation of software and hardware components.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in a related engineering field with some control automation coursework.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and teamwork experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to ~5%.

Responsibilities

• Gather information to assess project requirements for assigned scope.
• Create electrical drawings of circuits, drives, power distribution, I/O, using CAD tools.
• Produce mechanical panel layouts and enclosure drawings per specs and codes.
• Develop control software modules and HMI designs to meet project needs.
• Edit drawings for preliminary, manufacturing, shipped, and final As-Installed configurations.
• Provide regular status reports to stakeholders as needed.
• Support project document control and template standardization.
