Job summary

ICU Medical in Dublin, OH is seeking Engineer II, Controls to serve as the technical authority for manufacturing automation, controls systems, and equipment integration, driving reliability, performance, safety, and operational excellence across production operations.

You will lead the design, implementation, optimization, and lifecycle management of automated manufacturing systems, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, and partnering with Operations, Maintenance,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electromechanical/Controls Engineering or related field.
Minimum four years of controls/automation experience with manufacturing systems.
Experience with capital projects and validated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serve as the SME for equipment, automation platforms, and machine control systems.
Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations to resolve issues impacting safety, quality, and delivery.
Develop and implement robust automation strategies to improve reliability and performance.
Provide technical leadership to maintenance, engineers, and operations personnel.
Lead capital projects through design, FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning.
