Korry Electronics, based in Everett, Washington, seeks a Controller to lead the accounting and controllership function and partner with senior leaders to drive financial insight, strong controls, and reliable reporting. This executive-track role is designed for succession toward a Vice President of Finance within 2–3 years, emphasizing FP&A, strategic modeling, and cross-functional impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
10+ years of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience.
Meaningful finance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience leading a significant controllership, accounting, FP&A, or combined finance organization.
Experience managing and developing finance professionals.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and technical accounting.
Strong understanding of manufacturing finance and cost accounting, including standard costing, inventory accounting, overhead absorption, and manufacturing variance analysis.
Demonstrated experience with forecasting, annual planning, financial modeling, and detailed variance analysis.
Strong financial-modeling and business-case-development capabilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP and financial-reporting systems.
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior operational and business leaders.
Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial leaders.
Track record of leading process improvement, transformation, or complex cross-functional initiatives.
Demonstrated judgment, integrity, accountability, and ability to operate effectively in a complex business environment.

Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accurate U.S. GAAP reporting.
Maintain integrity of financial statements, GL, reconciliations, reserves, accruals, and estimates.
Establish and improve internal controls over assets and reporting.
Provide leadership on technical accounting matters and governance.
Lead internal and external audit activities and resolve findings.
Maintain controls over inventory, revenue, fixed assets, and CAPEX.
