R.D. Barnett PLLC is seeking a hands-on Controller to own day-to-day finances, build reporting, forecasts, and controls. You will manage accounting, billing, receivables, payables, payroll, and close activities while improving workflows and financial systems to support leadership decisions.

This role emphasizes accurate books, clear analysis, and collaboration with our Finance Operations Manager to drive better business outcomes in a growing tax, accounting, and advisory firm.

Qualifications

• Fully owned accounting cycle including month-end close and reconciliations.
• Forecasting and financial analysis to support leadership decisions.
• Payroll, billing, receivables, payables, and close processes.

Responsabilités

• Keep the financial foundation solid: maintain books for the firm and PracticeDen, complete reconciliations, entries, and month-end close.
• Turn financial information into useful decisions: prepare budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and performance reporting.
• Make payroll and employee-related finance dependable: manage payroll, benefits enrollment, and reimbursements.
• Build systems: establish controls, improve workflows across QuickBooks, Practice CS, Ignition, Anchor, Excel, and related tools.
