Jobot is seeking a Permanent Controller for a CFO-track leadership role in Columbus, IN. You will oversee accounting, budgeting, tax, audits and cash management, and you will lead strategic financial planning for complex projects in construction/steel.

This is an on-site senior position with significant influence on financial performance. The ideal candidate holds a CPA designation, has 5+ years in a senior finance role, and brings expertise in Vista ERP, job costing, and WIP accounting to drive

Qualifications

• CPA designation required and CPA licensure preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in a senior finance or accounting role.
• Proven construction/steel industry experience is mandatory.
• Proficiency with Vista ERP is required.
• Strong knowledge of job costing and WIP accounting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgets, reports, tax and audits.
• Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts with executive leadership.
• Study trends and projections for growth and expansion opportunities.
• Prepare all financial reports, statements and regulatory filings.
• Monitor sales/profit projections vs. actuals and optimize planning.
• Manage cash, investments and capital strategies for growth and M&A.
• Collaborate with executives to scale systems, processes and personnel.
