CFS in Seattle area seeks a hands-on Controller to lead our accounting function for a growing food manufacturing operation. You will oversee monthly closes, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with operations to improve margins.

The role requires 8–10+ years in accounting, manufacturing experience preferred, and CPA is a plus. Competitive compensation includes $140k-$190k salary + 20% bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience; bachelor’s degree, CPA is a plus.
• Background in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods/food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare and present financial statements and reporting packages.
• Analyze results, trends, and variances to deliver insights.
• Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury activities.
• Oversee ERP systems and drive process improvements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and tax regulations.
• Lead inventory and cost accounting, including controls and valuation.
• Support budget, forecasting, and audit processes.
• Partner with operations to improve margins and efficiency.
