Job summary

Planet seeks a cost accounting specialist to act as the central interface between the Berlin manufacturing site and the US finance team, establishing scalable cost accounting processes and standard cost methods.

You will own monthly inventory closings, lead physical inventory counts, ensure HGB compliance, and prepare cost documentation for German research grants, while supporting US cost accounting, reconciling intercompany transfers, and analyzing variances.

Qualifications

• Experience with cost accounting processes and standard costing methodologies.
• Ability to reconcile intercompany transfers and analyze purchase and production variances.
• Familiarity with HGB/compliance considerations and German research grant documentation.
