Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Significant experience in manufacturing accounting and cost accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build complex financial models and reporting tools.
• Strong systems expertise with ERP environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own a comprehensive cost accounting and fixed asset overhaul, including process improvements, reporting enhancements, and controls.
• Develop, maintain, and improve standard and custom product costing models, including
• Enhance labor reporting processes to provide improved visibility into manufacturing performance.
• Create detailed cost reporting and analysis to support operational and financial decision making.
• Analyze and report on contribution margin versus gross margin under IFRS requirements.
• Oversee direct labor and direct material cost analysis.
• Support inventory accounting, controls, and cycle count processes.
• Lead capital expenditure (CapEx) reporting and fixed asset management improvements.
• Support FP&A activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, including PwC, for audit support and financial reporting requirements.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Controller to lead and drive the transformation of cost accounting, fixed asset reporting, and manufacturing finance processes. This role will own critical accounting initiatives, improve cost visibility, and partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, product development, logistics, and planning teams to support strategic business decisions

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and own a comprehensive cost accounting and fixed asset overhaul, including process improvements, reporting enhancements, and controls
• Develop, maintain, and improve standard and custom product costing models, including
• Enhance labor reporting processes to provide improved visibility into manufacturing performance
• Create detailed cost reporting and analysis to support operational and financial decision
• Analyze and report on contribution margin versus gross margin under IFRS requirements
• Oversee direct labor and direct material cost analysis
• Support inventory accounting, controls, and cycle count processes
• Lead capital expenditure (CapEx) reporting and fixed asset management improvements
• Support FP&A activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, including PwC, for audit support and financial reporting requirements
• Partner with Belgian corporate finance teams on special projects and strategic initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting tools, and business processes

Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Significant experience in manufacturing accounting and cost accounting
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build complex financial models and reporting tools
• Strong systems expertise with the ability to navigate legacy and modern ERP environments

Systems Experience

• Legacy manufacturing system: AS400
• Financial reporting: Heavy Excel usage required
