Job summary

GlyMed+ seeks a seasoned Controller to lead the accounting function and own the close, controls, payroll, and incentive calculations. Based in Pleasant Grove, Utah, this hands-on leader will oversee a small team and report to the SVP of Accounting & Technology.

The role emphasizes building scalable financial processes in a fast-growing skincare company. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of accounting experience, CPA preferred, and proven supervisory skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's degree and CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in Controller/Asst. Controller roles.
• Direct supervisory experience with a track record of developing people.
• Hands-on payroll ownership, ideally multi-state, with FLSA considerations.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end and year-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements and management reports.
• Maintain accounting records, GL, and COA with substantiation across postings.
• Lead internal controls design and operation across all transaction cycles.
• Oversee payroll processing end-to-end in BambooHR and multi-state filings.
• Compute and administer commissions and incentive plans; document calculations and inputs.
• Manage AP/AR, billing, cash application, and fixed assets; support system integrations.
