Job summary

Flyover Attractions seeks a seasoned Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls across multiple sites. You will drive the monthly close, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with leadership on strategy and capital planning.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in senior finance roles, CPA/CA preferred, and proven success in scaling finance for multi-site, multi-currency environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• CPA/CA or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance and accounting roles.
• Previous experience as Controller or senior accounting leader.
• Demonstrated experience owning a monthly close process.
• Experience overseeing accounting operations across multiple regions or countries.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with financial systems, ERP implementations, and reporting tools.
• Proven track record of driving financial performance and supporting growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure complete, accurate results.
• Prepare and consolidate financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS as applicable).
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting to executives and the Board.
• Analyze results and identify unusual trends, variances, and issues.
• Oversee GL, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets, and month-end close.
• Maintain a disciplined close calendar and improve close speed/quality.
• Coordinate intercompany transactions across international entities.
• Manage multi-currency accounting and FX considerations.
• Maintain internal controls and accounting policies; build scalable processes.
