Job summary

We are partnering with a private-equity backed professional services business seeking an experienced Controller to own the accounting function, drive structure, and build the financial foundations for growth. The role offers a clear path toward a CFO position as the company expands nationally.

You will report to the CEO and collaborate with the leadership team, shaping finance processes, systems, and reporting.

Qualifications

• CPA license and US GAAP knowledge required.
• 8+ years accounting experience with close and reporting ownership.
• Experience managing multi-entity consolidations & intercompany transactions.
• Direct involvement in at least two acquisition integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and financial reporting.
• Lead multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting.
• Integrate acquired companies into the accounting framework.
• Move the business to full accrual accounting and improve controls.
• Support cash forecasting and investor reporting.
