Job summary

Plainville Farms, a long-standing family farm, is seeking a Controller to lead finance and accounting, ensuring GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.

You will manage monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A, mentor the finance team, and drive continuous improvement while preparing for a migration to a new ERP system. The role requires CPA/MBA preferred and 5+ years experience; proficiency in D365, Excel, and BI tools is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial management experience with FP&A and accounting expertise.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and experience with cost accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and year-end close processes and financial reporting.
• Provide FP&A insights, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash management, and general ledger.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support ERP migration.
