Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a seasoned Controller to bring its core financial operations in-house and build an audit-ready accounting function. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead the transition from external advisory to an internal team, implement a next-generation ERP, and drive ASC 606 revenue recognition for SaaS models.

This is a hybrid role in San Francisco, CA with a base salary in the $185k–$240k range and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting leadership in high-growth tech.
• Active CPA required, with foundational Big Four audit experience.
• Deep mastery of ASC 606 revenue recognition for SaaS and usage-based models.
• Proven track record leading ERP implementations and external audits.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly and quarterly close cycles, variance reporting, financial statement prep, and core accounting ops (AP, AR, payroll, treasury).
• Oversee ASC 606 revenue policies for SaaS subscriptions and usage-based contracts.
• Craft technical memos and position papers on equity, software capitalization, leases, and complex deals.
• Lead ERP implementation and oversee cloud/compute expenditure accounting.
• Manage corporate tax filings, state registrations, R&D credits, and prep for external audit.
