Job summary

LeoForce in Tennessee is seeking a Controller to oversee financial strategy, performance, and reporting. You will partner with the executive team and private equity owners, ensuring compliance and robust financial controls in a high-growth SaaS environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of financial leadership, CPA preferred, and experience with ASC 606 and M&A integrations. Travel is minimal, and the role reports to the CFO.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of financial management experience at PE- or VC-backed company.
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS business with $100M–$250M+ revenue and ASC 606 knowledge.
• Demonstrated M&A experience, due diligence, and post-close integration.
• Experience in lender/debt communications and reporting.
• Proven ability to set up KPIs and financial systems to drive decisions.
• Strong leadership: develop and retain accounting teams through change.
• Executive-level communication and collaboration with CFO/Board.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligning with business growth.
• Monitor financial performance: revenue, expenses, cash flow.
• Provide financial guidance to private equity owners and executive team; board reporting.
• Oversee audits, tax, and valuation services with third parties.
• Lead post-merger integration and cross-functional collaboration on acquisitions.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and ensure compliance with standards.
• Manage billing/collections, accounts payable, and ERP processes.
• Provide regular reporting to the executive team and board.
• Lead and mentor the finance team through transitions.
