Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an experienced Controller to join our rapidly growing organization as a permanent, director-level finance leader. You will oversee all accounting practices, financial reporting, budgets, forecasts, and internal controls, partnering with the CEO and senior management to guide strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in a senior finance role, strong GAAP knowledge, and hands-on experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior finance role.
• Experience in QuickBooks is required.
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
• Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, CFO and Senior Management.
• Study, analyze and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth.
• Supervise the investment and cash management strategies of the company.
• Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
• Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
• Oversee the production of monthly reports, financial statements and cash flow projections for use by executive management.
• Establish and maintain relationships with senior management and external partners and stakeholders.
• Review all formal finance, HR and IT related procedures.
