Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an Assistant Controller to join our growing manufacturing-focused finance team. You will work directly with the CFO and senior management to safeguard financial integrity, contributions to strategic planning, and timely reporting.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting within manufacturing, strong GAAP knowledge, QuickBooks expertise, and leadership capabilities. Hybrid schedule with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Expertise with QuickBooks and other financial software.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and data analysis abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the org.
• Integrity, dependability, and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and standards.
• Guide financial decisions using company policies in current economic contexts.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
• Achieve budget objectives by analyzing variances and taking corrective actions.
• Support year-end audits preparation.
• Assist in implementing new accounting policies and procedures.
• Support internal control structures for accurate reporting.
• Assist with general ledger, payroll, A/P and A/R, and cash management.
• Support CFO to ensure proper recording, filing, and reporting of financial transactions.
