Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Permanent Controller to lead the accounting operations for our manufacturing division in Woodstock, GA. The role reports to the CFO and emphasizes accuracy, controls, and strategic financial leadership.

You'll oversee ASC 606 compliance, manage SAP and SAP Business One, and drive efficiency using Onestream and PowerBI. A 5+ year track record in senior accounting within manufacturing is expected, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s or CPA desirable.
• Minimum 5 years in senior accounting/financial management, manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with SAP and SAP Business One is essential.
• Proficiency in Onestream and PowerBI for reporting and analysis.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations, periodic financial reports, records, controls and budgets.
• Oversee financial systems, ensure ASC 606 compliance and other standards.
• Manage SAP/SAP Business One implementations to streamline processes.
• Analyze with Onestream/PowerBI and provide strategic financial recommendations.
• Collaborate with CFO and stakeholders on financial strategies.
• Ensure tax filings and regulatory reporting compliance.
• Oversee audits with external auditors and drive process improvements.
• Develop and mentor a team of financial professionals.

Job Details

1. Leading the accounting operations of the company, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
2. Overseeing the company's financial systems, ensuring compliance with ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards.
3. Implementing and managing the SAP and SAP Business One systems to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
4. Utilizing Onestream and PowerBI to analyze financial data, generate financial reports, and provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis.
5. Coordinating with the CFO and other key stakeholders to develop financial strategies and plans.
6. Ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal tax filings and regulatory reporting requirements.
7. Overseeing the audit process, liaising with external auditors and managing financial audits.
8. Implementing and driving continuous improvements to financial processes and systems.
9. Managing and developing a team of financial professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with Manufacturing Sector
4. Extensive experience with SAP and SAP Business One systems.
5. Proficiency in using Onestream and PowerBI for financial reporting and analysis.
6. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, budgeting, and internal controls.
7. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
8. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
10. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
