Truity Partners in Trenton, NJ, seeks a Controller to oversee cost accounting, FP&A, and reporting for a high-growth manufacturing company. You will help build scalable financial processes, partner with operations leadership, and drive effective month-end close and variance analysis.

This role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite / 2 days remote), opportunity to implement cost controls, and exposure to senior leadership while shaping the company's financial agenda.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 5+ years blended experience with accounting and finance.
• Strong understanding of technical accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience with cost accounting, inventory, or manufacturing finance preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations leadership on financial planning and analysis.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support month-end close, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, labor, overhead, and profitability.
• Support cost accounting and operational finance activities.
• Assist with CapEx planning, inventory tracking, and related financial analysis.
• Prepare management reporting and provide insight into key business drivers.
• Establish and improve financial processes, controls, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Serve as a finance business partner to cross-functional leadership.

Compensation

$125,000 - $140,000 base + Bonus
