Job summary

CFS, located in South Bend, Indiana, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting function and drive financial performance. This hands-on role partners with leadership to improve processes and provide strategic financial direction.

The successful candidate will manage month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and internal controls, while leading the accounting team and ensuring GAAP compliance in a manufacturing-distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Manufacturing/distribution or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus.
