Job summary

Ledgent is partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to recruit an experienced Controller who will lead accounting operations and financial reporting. The role is on-site in Ventura County and targets candidates with a strong background in manufacturing, US GAAP, and ERP systems.

The ideal candidate will oversee month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and audit support, ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting management experience.
• US GAAP knowledge and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations and financial reporting for the organization.
• Oversee month-end close and financial consolidation.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and timely reporting.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of accounting management experience


• Manufacturing industry background


• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting


• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
