The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing, strong GAAP knowledge, and collaboration with operations to improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing accounting experience.
• Cost accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, manufacturing variance analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Prepare GAAP‑compliant financial statements and reports.
• Own inventory valuation, standard costing, BOMs, variances, and cost accounting.
• Partner with operations to improve profitability and manufacturing performance.
• Develop KPIs and financial reporting for executives.
• Manage physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting.
• Coordinate audits and external accounting partners.
• Assist with ERP implementation and process improvements.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff.
• Maintain internal controls and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

• Experience in manufacturing environments such as food & beverage, consumer products, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or similar regulated industries.
• Experience with private equity‑backed organizations.
• Base Salary: $125,000-$145,000 annually, depending on experience.
