A leading staffing and consulting firm is seeking a Finance Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations while partnering with leadership on financial planning and long-term strategy. This role involves managing core accounting functions, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and supporting financial initiatives that drive growth. The ideal candidate should have 7–10 years of experience in accounting, preferably in leadership roles, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Industry experience in healthcare or senior/assisted living is a plus.
• Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

This role leads day-to-day accounting operations while partnering with leadership on financial planning and long-term strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead core accounting functions including billing, receivables, payables, general ledger, and revenue accounting
• Own the monthly close process and deliver accurate, timely financial statements
• Maintain strong internal controls and data integrity across all financial activity

Planning & Financial Strategy

• Drive annual budgeting and forecasting activities; analyze results and explain variances
• Support leadership with short- and long-range financial planning and performance insights
• Develop financial initiatives that support operational and growth objectives

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure adherence to GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Oversee tax filings and required government reporting
• Coordinate audit activities and regulatory submissions
• Lead, coach, and develop an accounting team
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred
• 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
