The Controller is an integral part of building and supportingilumed’sfinancial infrastructure by managing the daily operations of the finance function as well as managing,maintainingand reporting on financial information necessary for company leadership to make informed decisionsand track financial metrics.In addition, the Controller will develop innovativereporting tools to drive increasedcommunication onresults, opportunities for improvement, and to highlight key successes.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform all accounting and financial operations including the general ledger, revenue, inventory management,fixed asset recording,AP/AR,and cash flow management.
- Prepare,analyzeand interpret balance sheets, income statements, cash flow, and liabilities.
- Overseefinancial and accounting staff,providing guidance and directionregardingdaily activities and projects.
- Interface with allfunctional areasand service providerstoobserveand analyze financial & operational data on a regular basis toidentifycost drivers, operationalefficienciesand overall performance.
- Establish,documentandmonitorclosing processes, billing,invoicing,expensesand reimbursements toensurecompliance withGAAP,SOXand all other regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile and account forbooking of expenses/payables inagreementsand other legal contractsto ensure payments are made consistent with the agreements.
- Review monthly journal entries and financial variance reports to accurately close the monthly fiscal period.
- Coordinate the development, tracking, review and reporting of annual operating budgets and performance projections.Review bonus calculations based on operational& financialmetrics.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop andestablishstandard financial data sets,report schedulesand progress updates compared to projections
- Coordinate data collection,documentationand report forecasted business activity and financial positionfor updates compared to projections.
- Conductand/or coordinateinternal audits and financial risk assessmentsandfacilitateintervention strategies.
- Prepareaccurateandtimelyinformation for management and investors.
- Prepareallyear-endtaxdocuments forthe company and contracted providers.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Financerequired.
- A minimum of15 years of full cycle accountingexperiencepreferably within the financial industry.
- Minimumof5years of direct managerial or supervisory experience.
- CPA, CGMA or similar certification preferred.
