Job summary

Confidential is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations for a growing manufacturing company. You will oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and cost analysis, while partnering with leadership on budgeting and forecasting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, with strong knowledge of JAAP and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 5+ years of accounting leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of job costing, financial reporting, and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee journal entries, reconciliations and general ledger activities.
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Lead job costing and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Oversee AP, AR, and cash management.
• Ensure payroll processing is accurate and timely.
• Maintain internal controls and support audits.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

• Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules
• Lead job costing and manufacturing cost analysis
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audits
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of accounting leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Strong understanding of job costing, financial reporting, and GAAP
• ERP system experience preferred
