Congenial litigation law firm in New York is seeking a Controller with law firm accounting experience to manage daily accounting functions and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will own the general ledger, reconciliations, payables/receivables, and expense allocations, ensuring timely month-end and year-end closings.

Must have 3E software proficiency and 5–10+ years of relevant experience, plus a bachelor's degree in accounting or business.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business strongly preferred.
• 5-10+ years of related experience.
• Must have 3E software and law firm accounting experience.

Responsabilidades

• Have ownership of daily accounting duties: General ledger, account reconciliations, A/P, A/R, expense allocation, etc.
• Handle month-end and year-end closings; provide information for tax preparation
• Report directly to Management Committee; oversee the Billing/Collections Manager.
