Job summary

Rally Search partners with a well-established manufacturer seeking an energetic Controller to work closely with the CFO and drive financial leadership in a high-growth environment. You will lead a 10+ person team across the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger functions.

The role owns monthly close and financial reporting for multiple entities, ensures GAAP compliance, and drives policy improvements, cash flow oversight, and audits with external firms.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors across AR, AP, and GL.
• Own monthly financial reporting for multiple entities, reviewing statements and analyzing results versus budget and prior periods.
• Apply and maintain a strong understanding of GAAP.
• Review and revise accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve accuracy and transparency.
• Oversee daily banking and cash flow management.
• Oversee audits with external audit firm.

We’ve partnered with a well-established manufacturer that’s seeking an energetic Controller who will work side by side as a partner to the CFO to further build this high-growth business. Individual will need to have prior leadership experience and will manage a team of 10+.

• Lead, manage, mentor, and develop supervisors and their teams across the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger departments, establishing goals and objectives and ensuring a timely monthly close.
• Own monthly financial reporting for multiple operating entities — review and distribute statements, add management commentary, and analyze results versus budget and prior periods, identifying trends and concerns.
• Apply and maintain a strong understanding of GAAP.
• Review and revise accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve accuracy, transparency, and control activities.
• Oversee daily banking and cash flow management.
• Oversee audits with external audit firm.
