Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; CPA strongly preferred.
• 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial reporting best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to non-financial stakeholders.
• Industry experience in professional services, not-for-profit, restaurant/hospitality, or legal is a plus.

• Own the full accounting and finance function, including month-end and year-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger oversight.
• Lead and develop a team of direct reports across AP, AR, billing, collections, and general accounting functions.
• Partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic decision-making.
• Oversee or coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and improve reporting efficiency.
• Prepare financial statements, executive reporting packages, and ad hoc analyses as needed.
• Manage billing, collections, and cash flow depending on the specific organization.

Common Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred across most roles.
• 5-10+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting backgrounds are welcomed and encouraged.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.

Compensation

• Base Salary: $100,000-$140,000+ depending on experience and scope of the role.
• Annual bonus eligibility varies by position.
