Job summary

The Controller role at CFS's client in Holyoke, MA offers an opportunity to lead a seasoned accounting team, mentor staff, and partner with leadership to drive financial strategy.

Qualifications

• CPA certification is a plus.

• Experience with month-end close and ERP systems (Sage preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements.
• Lead the annual audit and coordinate with external auditors.
• Evaluate current accounting processes and implement improvements.
• Oversee and mentor a team of 8, including AP/AR Specialists, Staff Accountants, and Senior Accountants.
• Partner with leadership on financial reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives.
