Job summary

Confidential in Deerfield, IL is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead the accounting function across North American operations in a multi-entity environment. You will oversee close processes, consolidations, and internal controls while partnering with the VP Finance on strategy and integration with acquisitions.

This leadership role offers the chance to scale the finance infrastructure, standardize processes across locations, and influence reporting and audits, with meaningful growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience with GAAP, consolidation, internal controls and financial reporting.
• Manufacturing or distribution industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and consolidated financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Lead, develop, and expand the accounting team.
• Establish company-wide accounting policies, controls, and reporting standards.
• Oversee external audits and auditor relationships.
• Standardize processes, controls, systems, and reporting across acquisitions.

A $105M and growing sales and distribution company is seeking a Controller to lead their accounting function across its North American operations.

The Controller will oversee accounting, controls, and consolidated financial reporting for a multi-entity organization. This leader will also play a key role in acquisition due diligence and integration as the company continues to expand.
