Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead the company’s financial operations from budgeting and forecasting to reporting and compliance. The role requires strategic input at the executive level and close collaboration with departments across the organization.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of financial management experience, a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting (MBA preferred), and strong leadership and analytical skills. On-site role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in financial management.
• MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations including budgets, statements, and reporting to executives and the board.
• Manage the month-end close process with accurate recording of all transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions to ensure timely processing.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and analyses.
• Participate in strategic planning at the executive level to align financial management with company goals.
• Monitor and manage cash flow and liquidity.
• Continuously assess accounting operations and implement improvements.

Job Details

• Oversee the financial operations of the company, including the development and management of budgets, preparation of financial statements, and reporting to company executives and the board of directors.
• Manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring all transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and analyses.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the executive level to align financial management with short and long-term company goals.
• Monitor and manage company cash flow and liquidity.
• Continually assess current accounting operations, offering suggestions for improvement and implementing new processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and their application.
• Experience in managing the month-end close process.
• Proficiency in managing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Experience in account reconciliations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office Suite.
• Experience in mortgage, construction, or non-profit industries is a plus.
