Job summary

LeoForce in Barnstable, MA is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead the company’s financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with a focus on accuracy and internal control. You will oversee all accounting functions—Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, cost and inventory accounting—coordinate budgets and forecasts, publish monthly statements, and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
• 5+ years total accounting and finance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP.
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and corporate finance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Additional controller duties as necessary.

• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
• Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
• Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.
