We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Controller in the Accounting and Finance industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial operations, including cash flow, financial statements, monthly reporting, year‑end close, mergers and acquisitions, and consolidated reporting.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions.
  2. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO and the leadership team.
  3. Supervise the investment and raising of funds to meet ongoing operational needs and future growth.
  4. Analyze the company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad‑hoc reports to senior management.
  5. Provide strategic management of the accounting and finance functions.
  6. Direct and analyze studies of general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations.
  7. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
  8. Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, department budgets, salary updates, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry.
  9. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports.
  10. Develop and implement finance, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
  11. Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations.
  12. Ensure records systems are maintained in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards.
  13. Develop and direct the implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems.
  14. Assist in obtaining the necessary licenses and insurance required to start a business.
  15. Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders. Analyze financial statements to pinpoint potential weak areas.
  16. Oversee financial management of foreign operations to include developing financial and budget policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master’s degree or CPA is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior‑level finance or accounting position.
  3. Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  4. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
  5. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
  6. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  7. Working knowledge of short and long‑term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product‑line profitability analysis.
  8. Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
  10. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
  11. Ability to delegate authority and responsibility.
  12. Ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions.
  13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other financial planning software.
  14. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  15. High attention to detail and accuracy.
  16. Proven leadership skills with experience in team management.
