Job summary

Search Group partners with an Alexandria, VA based software client to hire a Controller who will report to the CFO and lead a team of direct reports. Responsibilities include managing the GL close, financial reporting under US GAAP and IFRS, revenue recognition, contract reviews, internal controls, and tax filings.

The ideal candidate will have NetSuite experience, a CPA, and prior public accounting background, with ability to support CFO/FP&A in planning and analysis, treasury duties, and ARR

Qualifications

• CPA with public accounting background preferred.
• Experience with US GAAP and IFRS.
• NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Strong focus on controls and compliance.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our Alexandria, VA based software client is seeking a Controller. This will report into the CFO and manage a team of direct reports. Duties include management of the GL close, financial reporting (USGAAP/IFRS), revenue recognition/accounting, contract review, internal controls, and tax filings. Additional duties include supporting CFO/FP&A with planning and analysis, treasury functions, and ARR reporting.

Ideally candidates should have NetSuite systems, a CPA, and previous public accounting experience.

Compensation is targeted at $160K-$190K + bonus.
