Proven Recruiting is seeking a Controller for a hybrid schedule to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed business with high-visibility leadership responsibilities. You will own accounting oversight in a high-transaction, acquisitive environment and support the CFO with quarterly and annual filings.

You are a CPA with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, GAAP expertise, and prior management and acquisitions experience. This role offers growth and a top-tier benefits package.

• Act as a strategic leader on a high-performing, collaborative accounting team.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and industry.
• Strong technical accounting skills in GAAP.
• Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Possesses a high level of critical thinking.
• Prior management experience required.
• Experience with acquisitions in a private-equity environment.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $175,000 to $200,000 per year plus bonus and equity DOE. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
