Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Controlled Access Driver in Sulphur, LA to manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and conduct patrols at a chemical and petrochemical location. This role emphasizes customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable team.

You will provide exceptional service, handle access control procedures, respond to incidents, and work within an on-site security program.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors per site procedures and access control policies.
Monitor access points, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials, and maintain entry/exit records.
Screen personnel, vehicles, deliveries, and contractor equipment; report any security concerns.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies following escalation protocols.
Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
