Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Vehicle Entry Driver in Sulphur, LA, responsible for managing site entry, credential verification, and access control at a chemical/petrochemical location. This role emphasizes customer service and clear communication while supporting an industrial operation.

The position is full-time with a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $15.50 per hour. A valid driver’s license is required, with experience levels ranging from law enforcement to security

Qualifications

• Valid driver\'s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience, 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-control records.
• Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
