GE Appliances, a Haier company, is hiring a Control Technician II - Support Operations in Decatur, AL. The role focuses on processing, setup and troubleshooting of machines and equipment to ensure safety, quality and cost objectives.

Weekend availability, safety awareness and the ability to work with moving machinery are required. Starting pay is $26.23/hr plus a $1.50 shift differential, with comprehensive benefits and on-site amenities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing machine setup and mold changes is desirable.
• Knowledge of PLCs and ability to make minor adjustments.
• Able to work around moving machines, robots, and forklifts; wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, set up, load, transfer, operate, and adjust production equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Complete changeovers and tool changes; prepare different size configurations.
• Coordinate with operations leadership to meet deadlines and support trials.
