Job summary

Uline is opening a Connecticut facility and seeks a Control Mechanic to maintain and repair warehouse equipment. You will monitor automated conveyors, perform preventative maintenance, and support cross-functional teams to ensure uptime.

The role requires 2+ years in warehouse maintenance, electrical/mechanical skills, and willingness to travel 2–3 times per year to North American branches. New hires receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred.
• 2+ years of warehouse maintenance experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; train others.
• Electrical and mechanical skills with experience in PC/PLC control packages.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 times per year to other branches across North America.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor warehouse automated conveyors and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment including forklifts.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Warehouse Administration, Facilities and Operations teams to keep equipment running smoothly.
• Assist with parts management, inspections, repairs and remote troubleshooting.
• Apply hands-on expertise across material handling systems.
