Job summary

Uline is opening a new Connecticut warehouse and seeks a Control Mechanic to keep automated conveyors and material-handling equipment running smoothly. Pay ranges from $35 to $40 per hour with comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid holidays.

You will perform preventative maintenance, collaborate with Engineering and Facilities teams, and support parts management and remote troubleshooting across North America.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred.
• 2+ years of warehouse maintenance experience.
• Electrical and mechanical skills with PLC/PC experience.
• Willingness to travel 2–3 times per year to support projects across North America.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor warehouse automated conveyors and systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment including forklifts.
• Work closely with Engineering, Warehouse Administration, Facilities and Operational teams to ensure equipment runs effectively.
• Assist with parts management, inspections, repairs and remote troubleshooting.
• Apply hands-on expertise across a range of material handling systems.
