Job summary

Uline, a leading distributor of shipping and packaging materials, is opening a new Connecticut warehouse in Plainfield. We are hiring a Mechanic to keep our 1.2 million square-foot facility running at peak performance.

You'll repair and maintain warehouse equipment including pickers, forklifts, conveyors, wrappers and air pillow machines. New hires receive a $5,000 bonus. Shift is Monday–Friday, with consistent hours and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of mechanic experience.
• Experience maintaining Crown, Toyota and automated warehouse equipment.
• Prior hydraulic system, electrical and automated conveyor experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair warehouse equipment such as pickers, forklifts, conveyor systems, wrappers, banders and sealed air pillow machines.
• Keep detailed parts inventory and maintenance / repair records.
• Work safely using proper protective equipment and lockout / tagout (LOTO).
