Job summary

Grain Processing Corporation (GPC) seeks a Control Systems Superintendent to lead the Instrumentation and Controls team in Washington, Indiana. You will drive reliability, safety, and performance of plant control systems while guiding improvements, supporting capital projects, and developing next-generation talent.

Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering to solve complex challenges, implement new technologies, and uphold standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required; 10+ years in industrial control systems preferred.
Proven leadership of instrumentation, controls, automation, or reliability initiatives.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the site's Instrumentation and Controls team with day-to-day leadership.
Serve as SME for control systems, automation technologies, and OT systems.
Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and control issues with Maintenance, Production, and Engineering teams.
Lead capital, reliability, and continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation.
Evaluate and implement new technologies, system upgrades, and design improvements.
Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and training materials.
Manage project budgets, capital requests, and ensure compliance with regulations.
