Job summary
CGB Enterprises, Inc. in Mount Vernon, IN is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to design, program, and maintain PLC/DCS and instrumentation systems that keep our grain and transportation operations safe, efficient, and reliable. You will lead projects from conception to commissioning, calibrate instrumentation, and develop solutions to reduce downtime.
A two-year engineering associate degree and experience with Delta V, ABB Freelance, Dataparc, and Allen-Bradley PLCs are expected.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years in controls engineering.
- Strong knowledge of PLC/DCS systems and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, and implement PLC/DCS systems for production.
- Calibrate instrumentation and update PLC/DCS/HMI programs.
- Lead projects from conception to commissioning, including design and budgeting.
- Produce electrical layouts and project documentation.
- Maintain and support plant safety, quality and regulatory programs.
