GrayMatter Systems Llc is seeking a Control Systems Engineer for a hybrid role in St. Louis. The position requires 4+ years of relevant experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, and electrical schematics.

Travel to client sites in Iowa and Ohio is expected, up to 30-40%. Base compensation ranges from $115,000 to $135,000 annually plus benefits. The candidate will design, implement and support control system solutions, and collaborate with clients to ensure successful project execution and

Qualifications

• . Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field (EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable) or equivalent
• . 4+ years of relevant working experience with PLC programming and control systems implementation
• . Experience with HMI/SCADA development
• . Experience reading electrical schematics
• . Networking experience (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
• . Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service attitude

Responsibilities

• Perform GrayMatter services to meet client needs with focus on Control Systems
• Design, develop and implement solutions to resolve customer issues
• Consult with and train end users on new applications
• Assist in project development and planning
• Perform onsite pilots, FAT/SAT testing, demos; assist in commissioning
