Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to join the JCFS team on Oahu, HI. You will design and program HVAC building automation systems, develop software, and support field installation with commissioning and troubleshooting.

The role requires strong DDC experience and security clearance eligibility. You will coordinate submittals, provide site surveys, assist pre-sales activities, and ensure project schedules are met while maintaining clear communication with customers and

Qualifications

Experience with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems; programming, configuration, visualization, and integration.
Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, and building automation subsystems.
Experience preparing design packages, submittals, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Design, configure and program HVAC building automation and control systems; create sequence of operations.
Develop and test software for system operation.
Support technicians to ensure quality and timely designs.
Commission and troubleshoot building control systems.
Coordinate drawings and equipment schedules for submittals and communications with stakeholders.
Assist with pre-design site surveys, cost estimating and sales support.
