GrayMatter is seeking a Control Systems Engineer for its Building Automation Services team in Tulsa. The role focuses on managing specialized control-system projects for datacenters, power generation, and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform GrayMatter services focusing on control systems common in datacenter, power generation, and advanced manufacturing industries.
• Design, develop and implement solutions to achieve project goals.
• Lead integration between mechanical, electrical, and control systems for seamless operation.
• Lead commissioning procedures, test scripts, and documentation validation.
• Consult with and train end users on new applications.
• Assist in project development and planning.
• Location is local but up to 50% travel may be required.

General Job Duties:

• Performing GrayMatter services to meet client needs, with a specific focus on Control Systemscommon in datacenter, power generation, and advanced manufacturing industries.
• Designing,developingand implementing solutions toachieveproject goals.
• Lead integration and coordination between mechanical, electrical, andcontrols systems to ensure seamless operation across platforms.
• Lead development and execution of commissioning procedures, test scripts, and documentation validation.
• Consulting with and training end users on new applications
• Assistingin project development and planning.
• The location of thepositionislocal, butcould requireup to 50% travel throughouta calendaryear.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed:

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field (EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable). An equivalent combination of experience and training may also be considered

4+ years of relevant working experience with:

• PLC Programming: Schneider Modicon, Allen-Bradley, CompactLogix, ControlLogix, Schneider Electric, and Siemens
• SCADA Systems: Ignition
• Control Systems implementation, design, installs, and troubleshooting
• Experience with industrial application programming languages
• Experience with Electrical Schematics, Power Distribution, Water/Cooling systems.
• Acute attention to detail and process, Strong ability to solve problems and research solutions and Excellent customer service attitude

Preferred experience:

• AutoCAD or Drafting experience
• Networking experience (Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc.)

The target annual base compensation for this position is competitive and based upon relevant qualifications and experience. This role may also include a fixed monthly living stipend or daily per diem when traveling.
