Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 2-5 years of relevant experience [OR] 6-9 years in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of P&IDs, Cable Schedules, IO Lists and Network Architecture Diagrams
• Experience with AutoCad, Revit, S3D or other CAD tools
• Excellent communication and people skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience on greenfield or brownfield projects in Semiconductor, EV, Battery, or Data Center

Responsibilities

• Develops designs for complete Control Systems engineering systems with minimum supervision to produce detailed models or drawings
• Assists in constructing detailed scale models
• When in a lead role, assigns tasks to utilize the abilities of other designers/drafters
• Ensures compliance with design standards, codes, and regulations for quality design
• Reviews and checks calculations, models, drawings, and documents prepared by others for quality and accuracy
• Participates in constructability reviews
• Responsible for bulk material quantity take-offs and material requisitions for the discipline
• Coordinates with designers in other disciplines for overall design and requirements
• Develops work plans, budgets, and schedules for tasks based on supervisor direction
• Generates 2D drawings or 3D CAD models of high complexity with minimal guidance
• Collaborates to ensure project design aligns with overall schedule
